San Francisco Boat Works, Ship’s Chandlery:

For the convenience of our customers and of course to meet the needs of our own ongoing boat repairs and restoration, San Francisco Boat Works maintains an onsite retail Chandlery for parts and supplies.

While the Chandlery’s stock on hand does not rival that of a “big box” retail chain store, we do maintain a good supply of things that are needed on a daily basis for most boaters such as cleaning supplies, sacrificial anodes, thru-hulls and valves, oil & lubricants, bottom and topside paint and painting supplies, hardware of all descriptions, sandpaper, solvents, epoxy, and much more.

If the item you need is not on our shelves, do not despair – even though San Francisco no longer has a big retail marine chain store, our Chandlery has a Special Order Program that may be able to get the items for you.

Feel free to fill out the Special Order Request form (click here to submit request online) that allows you to e-mail the form directly to us, or you may print it out and fax it or mail it in.

Give us as much information as you can: be sure to provide the complete model and serial numbers if ordering engine parts, for example, and if you have already obtained a part number from your owner’s manual or a manufacturer’s website please provide that. Photos of the parts can be e-mailed to us and are very helpful. Your hull number may be needed. We’ll also need your name and a good daytime telephone number to reach you with prices and availability, and to confirm your shipping and/or pick-up instructions.

Note: We will need to PREPAY your order before shipment from the manufacturer, so we need your payment in advance. If arranging to pay by credit card, we accept MasterCard and Visa only, but please do NOT e-mail your credit card information as your information is not secure!
